Rovers Ladies came from two goals down to earn a share of the spoils in their second friendly of the summer away to Stoke.
Gemma Donnelly’s side found themselves two goals down inside 17 minutes, but halved the deficit through Kaz Boyle just past the half-hour mark.
It was one-way traffic towards the Potters’ goal from then on and Rovers were back on level terms shortly after the restart through Jess Holbrook.
Rovers pushed for a winner, but were unable to get a third goal their display deserved.
Donnelly said: “It was a useful fixture, albeit slightly unorthodox given that we’ll be meeting Stoke in our league campaign next season and both teams are being tipped as contenders for the title.”
