Gary Bowyer is out to cause a cup upset when Rovers take on Swansea City at Ewood Park on Saturday.

The Rovers boss admits his squad are excited about taking on top-flight opposition, and that they'll be up for the challenge of facing the Swans.

"We are playing a Premier League team who are very pleasing on the eye," said Bowyer.

"Outside the big boys they are one of the most pleasing to watch in terms of how they go about the game.

"We understand with the way that they play, there will be spells in the game where they will have a lot of the ball."

The Rovers boss has a near fully-fit squad to selection from for Saturday, with the right sort of selection headache for tomorrow's cup clash.

"We know that whoever we pick has got to be right at it and take the challenge on," added Bowyer.

"It is how organised we are and how disciplined we will be, we've prepared in the right manner, we feel that there are areas for us to exploit that we might be able to cause them some trouble and try and win the game.

"The players have worked very hard this week in training and you get the feeling there's a sense of excitement because we are playing another Premier League team like we did last year against Manchester City.

"Nobody expects us, except ourselves in the dressing room, to go out and cause a shock.

"That is the beauty of the FA Cup and why it appeals so much to the supporters and to the players and the staff here now."
