Rovers midfielder Darragh Lenihan has extended his stay with Burton Albion for a second time.
The 20-year-old initially joined the Brewers on a month-long loan in October, which was then extended into the new year.
Having continued to impress Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Lenihan will now remain with the League Two promotion-chasers until February 7th.
Primarily used in a holding midfield role, the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international helped Burton end 2014 with three straight clean sheets, and played the full match on Saturday as they defeated Shrewsbury 1-0 to move above them and into second place in League Two.
A regular for Rovers’ Under-21s prior to his move to the Pirelli Stadium, Lenihan is yet to make his first team debut for the club.
