Corry Evans believes a positive result against Swansea City can provide a timely boost with a busy week of fixtures ahead.

Rovers are in FA Cup fourth round action this Saturday at Ewood Park when they take on the top ten Premier League side, before tough league matches away at Derby County and home to Fulham.

The Northern Ireland international, who scored his first goal of the season last week against Wigan, admits it will be a tough ask to beat the Swans, but there's confidence in the camp to go out and progress in the cup.

"It is another game and another game that we want to win," Evans told Rovers Player.

"It can build momentum if you are still in the cup competitions so we'll go into Saturday looking at it like that.

"You want to win every game you play in and Saturday is no different. It is going to be a tough ask for us as they are a proven Premier League team.

"They've got a lot of quality and experience in the squad so it is going to be tough, but the lads are going into it fully prepared and confident that we can start on another run.

"It can lift the confidence and the morale of the squad and even the fans who have stuck by us over the last few games where we've not been at our best, so a win would give a lift to the whole club."

Tickets for Saturday's match will be on sale up until the 12.45pm kick-off. Tickets for all areas of the ground are priced at £20 Adults, £15 Seniors 65 and over, £15 18-20yrs, £10 Juniors aged 5-17s and £5 for Under 5s.

Why not book online today at and collect your tickets from the Roverstore collection point on the morning of the game.
