Manager Gary Bowyer was pleased to see his side pick up three points, as Rovers beat Fulham 2-1 at Ewood Park.
Goals from Ben Marshall and Jordan Rhodes put Rovers in complete control, before Ross McCormack pulled one back for the visitors.
But the hosts saw the game out comfortably, to bounce back from Tuesday's disappointment at Derby and claim a much-needed win in the league.
"Full credit to the lads," said the Rovers boss.
"After Tuesday night, they've stuck together, they ignored all the negativity and got on with focusing on Fulham.
"Kit Symons has done a tremendous job there. You see the players they've got, especially the forward line, which is Premier League quality, and I thought we did ever so well against it today.
"We scored goals at the right time and passed the ball and saw the game out ever so well.
"I'm delighted for Jordan and it capitalised on an excellent start, in terms of Marshy's goal.
"It was a fantastic display from them."
