Turn points into wins

Alex Baptiste knows Rovers have to put Saturday's draw with Blackpool behind them and concentrate on getting all three points against Norwich City tomorrow night.

The defender returned to the starting XI to face his former club at the weekend but was left disappointed that Rovers were only able to claim a share of the spoils.

Whilst the draw meant a fourth match unbeaten, with the Canaries next up at Ewood, Baptiste insists Rovers have to start turning those points into all three.

"It is a massive game, they are absolutely flying at the minute, but if we want to be up there then we are going to have to win this game," the defender told Radio Rovers.

"They are on a really good run, the manager there has done really well, there is no question about that so it should be a good game."

Saturday's draw means Rovers are 12 points off a top six position, but with plenty of games coming up, Baptiste remains convinced that they can maintain a late challenge.

"There are that many games in February and March, playing Saturday-Tuesday all the way through, so we can't dwell on this result," he added.

"We've still got a great chance but we've got to start picking up more than one point, that is a given.

"We are still fighting, there is still the belief in the dressing room that we can make it."

Tickets for Tuesday's match against Norwich City will be on open sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets are priced from £12 Adults, from £9 Seniors/Students and from £5 for Juniors aged 16 and under.
