Shane Duffy hailed Rovers' strike-force as Stoke City were put to the sword on Saturday.

The Potters were no match for an impressive Rovers side who progressed through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup thanks to a 4-1 win.

Josh King grabbed a first career hat-trick, whilst Rudy Gestede notched his 14th of the season, to leave defender Duffy delighted.

"It was good it was enjoyable to play in, I thought the lads were brilliant," said the Irishman.

"It was the same as the Swansea game, we went down, but we never gave up and showed great character we didn't let our heads drop.

"Kingy and Rudy up front were different class. When Kingy is like that he scares defences with his power and pace. We see it all the time in training and hopefully we can see it every week now and he kicks on.

"I'm delighted for him, he's got three and it is fully deserved.

"We are now in the quarter-finals and we can look forward to that."

The draw for the quarter-finals takes place on BBC1 on Monday evening at approximately 7.35pm. Rovers are ball number six.
