13 February 2015

We've a special FA Cup Fosters FanZone down at Ewood Park this Saturday ahead of the Stoke City match.

Young performer and Langho local Nicholas James Gunn will be on stage this Saturday singing a mixture of swing classics and upbeat modern numbers.

An award-winning crooner with a tremendous performing pedigree, Nicholas is an energetic and engaging young performer of the highest quality.

Well known to local audiences as the leading male in the Blackburn Musical Theatre Company productions at the Thwaites Empire Theatre. These show-stopping performances have led to him winning the 2014 prestigious award for North West ‘Best Leading Male’ at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) awards, the am-dram equivalent of the Oscars.

A debut leading role in the BTMC's production of 'Anything Goes' back in 2009 earned him his first nomination for 'Best Leading Male' for the NODAs. He continued in lead roles in 'Guys and Dolls', ‘Carousel’ and most recently ‘Crazy for You’, all to critical acclaim - Lancashire Telegraph called him 'a revelation' and 'the real star of the show’, while NODA 'adored his singing voice'. Nicholas has been featured in the Clitheroe Advertiser, Lancashire Telegraph and Live Ribble Valley Magazine, to name a few.

Nicholas will be on stage at the Fosters FanZone from 1.30pm at Ewood Park.
