John O'Sullivan has today joined Barnsley on a month-long loan deal until March 21st.
The Rovers midfielder makes the step up to League One after spending the first half of the campaign with Accrington Stanley.
O'Sullivan impressed during a four-month loan spell with Stanley, catching the eye with four goals in 13 appearances for the League Two club.
A product of Rovers' Academy, the Irishman has progressed through the ranks to the fringes of the first team, making his Rovers debut away to Birmingham City on the final day of the 2012-13 season.
Earlier this month the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international put pen-to-paper on a new contract, which will keep him at Ewood Park until June 2016.
O'Sullivan has been signed in time for Barnsley's home game against Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.
