Gary Bowyer was once again delighted with the performance of Jay Spearing.

The on-loan midfielder impressed on debut in last week's win over Fulham and put in another dynamic display in the centre of the park against Watford much to the delight of his manager.

"We said last week after his performance that he'd get better and stronger with games and that is what he is going to keep doing," Bowyer told Rovers Player.

"He showed his character that he was able to play with a yellow card so early on in the game and go on from that until we changed it at the end."

Rovers and Spearing are back in action this Tuesday night when Rotherham United are the visitors to Ewood Park - kick-off 7.45pm.

Tickets are on open sale at priced from £12 Adults, £9 Seniors/Students and £5 for Under 17s.
