Gary Bowyer knows Rovers have to take advantage of their next two home games by picking up maximum points.

Rovers take on Blackpool this Saturday before Norwich City are the visitors to Ewood Park the following Tuesday evening.

The manager believes the two Ewood encounters gives Rovers the opportunity to close the gap between themselves and the sides at the top of the table and they have to make the most of it.

"People expect you to win your home games and rightly so," said Bowyer.

"It isn't rocket science, we know what we have to do and we are aware of it.

"We've just got to go and approach them in a totally professional manner as ever and treat them with the same respect that we treated Stoke City at home last Saturday.

"We've to focus on what we do, it is all about us and how we go about the games.

"We've got to play teams that are above us so we have opportunities to claw that gap back but we've got to take it one game at a time.

"We've produced some excellent performances and more importantly the results have been been backed up.

"We've got to get back to that on Saturday against Blackpool and if we can then it is four points from the last two games which would set us up nicely for Norwich."

Tickets for Saturday's game will be on sale until the 3.00pm kick-off. Priced from £21 for Adults, £13 Seniors/Students and £8 Juniors. Book online today at and collect your tickets from the Roverstore collection point on the day of the game.
