Killa's praise for front pair

4 February 2015

Defender Matt Kilgallon was full of praise for the frontmen following Rovers' victory over Fulham at the weekend.

Chris Brown impressed on his first Ewood Park start, whilst Jordan Rhodes netted the all-important second goal in the 2-1 win.

“Jordan’s movement is great and from playing against him in training everyday, he’s a lot stronger than you think," said the former Sunderland defender.

“Players go through little spells like he has, but the cream always rises to the top and you could tell he was going to score his chance and what a great header it was.

“I also thought Browny was outstanding. I certainly wouldn’t have liked to play against him!”
