Every game is a six-pointer

Rovers captain Grant Hanley is keen to secure back-to-back victories when Rovers visit Watford this afternoon.

Last Saturday's success over Fulham ended a run of five league games without a win and Hanley is desperate to build on that result against Rovers' play-off rivals.

Watford currently occupy sixth spot in the Championship table, eight points ahead of ninth-place Rovers.
“The Fulham result was massive for us,” admitted the Scotland international, who is set to make his 150th appearance for the club.

“We were going through a bit of a lull, but hopefully that’s behind us now.
"This is a very important game for us because of our positions in the table. Having said that, we go in to every game thinking it’s a six-pointer, because the league is so tight.
“We have to be going into the game looking for three points. If you look at the teams that do well in the Championship, they don’t draw many, they put runs of wins together and that’s what we must do.
“There are so many games coming up now, if you have a good couple of weeks, you’re right up there.”
