Gary Bowyer is backing Chris Taylor get amongst the goals once more when Rovers take on Stoke City in the fifth round of the FA Cup this afternoon.

The midfielder has found the back of the net in each round of this season's competition for Rovers, starting off with both goals in the 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic before grabbing the first goal as Swansea City were despatched 3-1 in round four.

The Rovers boss has been impressed with the way Taylor has handled himself this season and confirmed that he'll face the Potters at Ewood Park later today.

"You always get a feeling for a player and when we were playing against Swansea I had a feeling that Tayls would have the possibility to get another goal and so it was," Bowyer told Rovers Player.

"I've said to him can he try and score in every round. He will play for sure.

"He's an unbelievable character. He gives you everything he has got in training every day. He doesn't sulk, he doesn't feel sorry for himself. He knows when he's done well and he knows when he's not performed to the best of his ability and he is out of the team.

"What he does give is an enormous amount of support to everybody. He was very unlucky to be left out against Derby after he scored against Swansea but he gets his opportunity on Saturday."

Tickets for today's game will be on sale to Rovers supporters with a database history of purchasing tickets. Prices are Adults £20, Seniors (65 and over) £12, 18-20yrs £12, Juniors (5-17yrs) £7 and Under-5s free.
