Be wary of Blackpool

Gary Bowyer has warned that Blackpool will be no pushovers when Rovers face them this Saturday at Ewood Park.

The Seasiders may be bottom of the Championship and ten points from safety, but the Rovers boss has seen enough fight in Lee Clark's side to know that tomorrow's game will far from straightforward.

"You only have to take into consideration their game at home to Nottingham Forest last week," said Bowyer.

"They had a man sent off and men injured, but they stuck in there and got an equaliser. It shows you that they are alive and kicking.

"If you know Lee Clark you know that they are going to be coming here fighting on Saturday. So it is up to us to make sure that we are very professional in our approach and grind out the result.

"Every manager in the Championship tells you about the difficulty of this league. There is no easy game.

The second game of this season saw Rovers defeat Blackpool 2-1 at Bloomfield Road, but Bowyer knows that the Tangerines will be a different side from the one they faced back in August.

The Rovers boss added: "The turnover in players has been huge, we'll do our preparation properly as we always do and get ready to face which ever team he puts out."

Tickets for Saturday's game will be on sale until the 3.00pm kick-off. Priced from £21 for Adults, £13 Seniors/Students and £8 Juniors. Book online today at and collect your tickets from the Roverstore collection point on the day of the game.
