Hope Akpan is relishing meeting old mates when Rovers take on Reading later this Sunday.

The midfielder could line up against his former club having joined from the Royals in the summer.

With back-to-back away wins under their belts Akpan believes Rovers can go to the Madejski Stadium full of confidence and hopes to return north with another three points.

"It was the first fixture I looked for when they came out," the midfielder told Rovers PlayerHD.

"I spent a bit of time at Reading so I am definitely going to enjoy the game and it will be good to get one over them.

"Our away form has been good and we are going to go to there with lots of confidence. We are playing well so we'll be looking to make sure we win the game.

"We've picked up a lot of points during the course of the season on the road at some difficult places so I think Sunday is another opportunity for that.

"It is a long way down to Reading but if we can get the win then I'm sure the Rovers fans will be singing and dancing and ready for Christmas."

Tickets for today's match will be on sale from 12.30pm at the South Stand ticket office situated between gates 9 and 10.

Matchday prices are £28 for Adults, £18 for 65s and over, £13 for 18-24 year-olds and £10 for Rovers fans aged 17 and under.
