Rovers Under-17s take on Chelsea tomorrow (Saturday) in the first round of the FA Girls' Youth Cup.
The tie will take place at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy, kick-off 11am.
Rovers will be hoping to follow up their impressive performance against North Yorkshire in the preliminary round, which saw them triumph 6-1, however head coach Amanda Goodwin is expecting a much tougher test.
"We have trained hard this week and prepared properly and we will set up to try and combat what we think they'll be good at," said the coach.
"We are expecting a much tougher game, so we will need to stick together and work hard as a team. You can't afford to make any mistakes against a team like Chelsea and we need to put into practice what we've worked on in training this week."
