Rovers boss Paul Lambert will check on the fitness of Corry Evans before naming his squad for the Bank Holiday Monday clash with Bolton.
The Northern Ireland international will be assessed in training today to see if he is fit to face the Trotters in tomorrow's lunchtime encounter.
Evans would have missed Saturday's match against Middlesbrough with a groin strain, but the extra days rest could make him available.
"He wasn't going to make it but he is going to train and we'll see how he feels," said the manager.
"If he comes through then he will travel with us."
The Boxing Day postponement means the squad will now have a full training session in preparation for the match against a Wanderers side that lost 4-0 away at Rotherham on Saturday.
Lambert added: "The plan was always to train on Sunday but it was going to be more of a recovery session really.
"We can do a little bit more on it now and get the legs going to make sure they're ready for Monday."
Tickets will be on sale at Bolton on the day of the game from cash turnstile G from 11.45am. Priced at Adults £33, Seniors £23, U23s £23, U18s £12.
Any Supporters who were due to collect tickets from Ewood for the Bolton game should now collect their tickets from the Macron Stadium.
They can be collected from the Ticket Office, adjacent to Bolton Central (Club Superstore) on the East Side of the stadium on Monday.
