Craig Conway has called on Rovers to start tonight's match against Cardiff in the same manner they ended Saturday's game at Huddersfield.

The wide-man knows of the importance of starting well against the Bluebirds with the aim of claiming the first three points for Rovers this season.

Conway accepts it will take time for the team to fully gel with a host of new arrivals in recent weeks, but hopes they can put it all together at Ewood tonight.

"We certainly want to start the way we did in the second half against Huddersfield," said the midfielder.

"We started that way against Wolves in the first game so against Cardiff we want to start where we left off against Huddersfield. It was a good second-half performance after being poor in the first half.

"It is slowly coming together but we want it a wee bit quicker, but we've certainly shown in glimpses that we are building something.

"We've got a few new lads as well that are coming into the fold and have done well. We want to go and get our first three points and they'll be thinking exactly the same.

"We'll be working hard to go and hopefully we can put together what we have shown in glimpses and start really well and get the fans behind us."

Tickets for tonight's match are on open sale up to the 7.45pm kick-off, priced from £18 Adults, £12 for Seniors and 18-21years, and from just £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
