A trio of first team stars were the main attraction at the first ever ‘Rovers Roadshow’ in Blackburn town centre.
Rovers aces Markus Olsson, Corry Evans and Chris Brown delighted the hoards of fans as they took part in a Q&A on the Fosters FanZone stage, before getting up close and personal in a signing session with the supporters.
There were guest appearances throughout the afternoon, as former players Paul Round and John Kenyon took to the stage, followed by rising stars from Rovers’ Centre of Excellence and Academy.
Alongside the special guests, there was also a penalty shootout competition and several giveaways during the course of the day, with free match tickets, autographed merchandise and family season tickets all up for grabs!
One lucky youngster even came away with a signed football despite answering the question ‘Which Rovers star was born in Gambia?’ with ‘Corry Evans’!
Last season’s Player of the Year, Markus Olsson, was delighted to take part in the event, saying: “It’s always good to have the chance to interact with the fans, especially in our own town centre.
“Quite a few supporters came down today, which is always nice to see, and the weather stayed fine, so it was great.”
