Gary Bowyer has been delighted with the speed at which new signing Fode Koita has settled in at the football club.
Introduced as a substitute in the second half of both the league game against Wolves and the Capital One Cup match against Shrewsbury, the summer arrival from French side Caen has certainly caught the eye.
Now as Rovers prepare to take on Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium this afternoon, the Rovers boss has admitted that whilst he isn't fully fit yet, the signs are certainly positive.
"Fode has only been with the us a month but the progress that he has made has been good," said the manager.
"We have to remember he is only 24, coming over to a new country and he is still trying to settled, and you have to take these things into account.
"He is just catching up still on his fitness but the progress he's made, we've been delighted for him.
"The potential he has shown for a free transfer - it could be some really good business again by the club."
