Nathan Delfouneso has called on Rovers to put the week's disappointment behind them and get their season underway with a win away at Huddersfield this Saturday.
Rovers opened their league campaign with a narrow home loss to Wolves, but then went out of the Capital One Cup at the hands of Shrewsbury Town by the same 2-1 scoreline on Tuesday.
The forward opened his account for the season in the midweek tie, but he knows Rovers have to dust themselves down and go into Saturday's match at the John Smith's Stadium looking to claim their first win of the season.
"We've got to pick ourselves back up now," Delfouneso told Radio Rovers. "We've got an away game against Huddersfield on Saturday and it will be another tough game.
"In the Championship every game is difficult, but we've got to be confident, we've got to be up for it and go there with a positive mentality and look for the three points.
"We are looking forward to it and hopefully we can get that first win. Our season has got to start on Saturday."
Tickets for Saturday's match are currently on sale priced at £27.50 for Adults, £17 for Seniors (60 & over), £10.00 for Juniors (17 & Under) and £5 for Under 8’s.
Tickets will be available on sale on the day of the game at the John Smith's Stadium, however supporters should note that there is a £3.00 matchday price increase.
