Nathan Delfouneso and Danny Guthrie are expected to go straight into the squad for tomorrow's league opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Signed this week, the pair are likely to feature at Ewood Park, along with fellow summer arrivals Fode Koita and Sacha Petshi.
Rovers will be without Chris Taylor who underwent a groin operation last week, but Chris Brown, Corry Evans and Lee Williamson are all back in contention after knocks.
Speaking ahead of the Wolves clash, boss Gary Bowyer said: "Touch wood at this moment in time it is just Chris Taylor who is out.
"Fortunately for us Chris Brown came through an hour in a behind closed doors game on Monday.
"Corry Evans has training all week so that is a bonus. Lee Williamson missed last week with just tightness and he has trained all week."
Supporters who haven't yet purchased their tickets for the big season opener this Saturday are advised to come down to Ewood early.
The club are anticipating the ticket office, Roverstore and collection point to be busy ahead of the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers so fans are requested to allow extra time.
Tickets for the match are priced from £22 for Adults, £14 for Seniors aged 65 and over, £14 for 18-21 year-olds and from £9 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
Season tickets are also still on sale ahead of the new campaign, representing fantastic value for money.
In keeping with the club's commitment to making football at Ewood Park as affordable as possible for supporters, prices for the season start from just £249 for Adults and £159 for fans aged 18-21 and seniors aged 65 and over, and just £60 for Under-18s.
