New signing Mo Barrow can't wait to be involved with his new team after joining from Swansea City.
Monday saw the Gambian international join Rovers on a three-month loan deal from the Premier League side, and having played against the Lancashire club twice last season, he is now keen to impress in the blue and white of Rovers.
I'm really happy to be here," the 22-year-old told Rovers Player. "I played against them twice last season and both times it was a tough game.
"They have a really good team. So I'm looking forward to joining the team and to play with them.
"With Swansea we got beat 3-1 and we drew with Forest. So I remember that every time we played against them they had a good side and a really good crowd.
"Now I am here need to work hard on the training ground, there are a lot of good players here, so I need to work hard, give 100% and get into the first team."
Having learnt his footballing trade in Sweden before moving to Swansea, Mo spoke to our own Swede Markus Olsson to find out about the club ahead of joining on loan.
He added: "I spoke to Markus and he told me it was a big club with really great people and fans.
"I didn't need a lot of convincing, I can see for myself it is a big club and the lads are nice."
Swansea City have given permission for Barrow to play for Rovers in this season's Capital One Cup and he could feature in tonight's match against Shrewsbury Town if international clearance is received in time.
Tickets for this evening's game are on open sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off priced at just £10 for Adults, £5 Seniors/18-21yrs, and just £1 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
