Latest recruit Hope Akpan is full of belief that the first win of the season is just around the corner.
The midfielder, who made his first start for the club in Tuesday night's draw with Cardiff, knows that if Rovers continue to create the chances then the three points will surely follow.
"The goals will come and hopefully we can get the three points and get the season properly underway," Akpan told Rovers Player.
"Everyone is striving and dying for them first three points, the fans just have to stick with us and the win will come.
"We are doing what it takes on the pitch, we are working hard, we are the creating chances, so I'm sure we can keep a clean sheet and we'll get a win."
After two draws from their opening three games, Rovers now travel to the south coast to take on an unbeaten Brighton & Hove Albion side this Saturday, and Akpan knows it won't be easy.
"Like every Championship game, every game is tough," he added.
"We know that all the opponents we come up against that it is going to be a hard game and that we are going to have to work hard and Brighton is no different.
"They have started okay so we have got to match them and make sure we go down there with confidence."
