Latest signing Nathan Delfouneso has spoken of his delighted at joining the Rovers.

The 24-year-old became the club's fourth signing of the summer, putting pen-to-paper on a one-year deal.

The former Aston Villa youngster joined Rovers on trial a fortnight ago, and after impressing in the pre-season games against Oldham, Bury and Wigan, he made the move to Ewood Park a permanent one.

"To have the opportunity to come to such a massive club like this is a real honour," said Delfouneso.

"The facilities that we've got here - the stadium, the fanbase, the history that the club has. Only a handful of teams have won the Premier League and Blackburn is one of them so it shows how big the club is.

"So I can't wait to get started and work with the players and the staff and hopefully I can bring some joy and success for the team and the fans.

"I have everything at my disposal here to go and develop and improve and become a better player and I am really excited to be here."

The forward is expected to go straight into the squad for the first match of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday and the former England Under-21 international can't wait.

He added: "Wolves are a good team and it will be a very difficult game but we have got to go in there confident.

"We are looking forward to it, there's the excitement because it is the first game of the season. I am delighted to be here and I can't wait to get started on Saturday."

Tickets for Saturday's league opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers will be on sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off.

Tickets are priced from £22 for Adults, £14 for Seniors aged 65 and over, £14 for 18-21 year-olds and from £9 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
