Launched in the summer of 2013, the new Futsal Education Programme provides a perfect pathway into further education through study and by utilising the increasingly popular form of the 'Beautiful Game' - Futsal which is a 5-a-side-format. There will be multiple Rovers teams, so plenty of game time for everyone.
You could be among those to follow in the footsteps of our current scholars, who are well on their way to gaining valuable qualifications, allowing access to university and employment in the sport and leisure industry, while representing Blackburn Rovers against our local rivals.
What is Futsal?
Approved by FIFA, UEFA and the FA, Futsal is played in a quick and exciting five-a-side format that is geared towards the development of a player's skills, technique and in-game decision making.
