After collecting their first point of the season at the weekend at Huddersfield , boss Gary Bowyer is keen for Rovers to earn their first victory of the campaign tonight against Cardiff City.
Rovers were good value for their draw at the John Smith's Stadium, Nathan Delfouneso's second goal in as many games ensuring the match ended all square.
Now they face a Bluebirds side at Ewood Park also looking for their first three-point haul after a pair of draws in their opening two games.
"We are looking forward to it," said Bowyer
"Huddersfield away is not an easy place to go and we saw that on Saturday, so to come away with a point it gives us something to build on.
"It is going to be a difficult game, if you look at the players that they have got in their squad still, they've got a lot of Premier League players.
"So we are aware of the challenge but it is one that we have to build on from Saturday's second half performance.
"It is about us and how we go about it and coming out of the traps fast and hard on Tuesday night."
Tickets for tonight's match are on open sale up to the 7.45pm kick-off, priced from £18 Adults, £12 for Seniors and 18-21years, and from just £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
