Gary Bowyer was pleased with his side's second half response as they came from behind to earn their first point of the season against Huddersfield.
A poor first half showing saw Rovers trailing at the break. Nahki Wells' 9th minute opener the difference between the two teams.
But second half substitutions made the required difference as Fode Koita nodded down for Nathan Delfouneso to slam home his second goal in Rovers colours to claim a share of the spoils.
"We showed a terrific spirit and response from our first half performance," said Bowyer.
"Their goal rocked us, it was a poor situation that lead to a couple of corners, David pulled off a fantastic save but we were slow to react to the rebound.
"But we made the changes in the second half and they had a massive impact, they were terrific. That is what you want from your substitute's bench, to go on there and make an impact."
The dubious goals panel were needed to award Nathan Delfouneso his first goal for the club on Tuesday night, but there was no doubt on this occasion.
"It was a great goal, a good team goal," added the manager. "There were ten passes in the build-up, Marshall hits a fantastic ball to pick out Fode and he did terrifically well to set his mate up and it was a great finish because he could have quite easily blasted it.
"That was the impact that you wanted from them.
"The energy that we showed late on, I thought we looked fit, strong, and we kept driving on trying to get that winner.
"The team is still trying to get to know each other because there are players that have only been in the building for a couple of weeks and the only way we can do that is by training hard and in the games which are coming thick and fast for us."
