Matt Kilgallon is delighted that Rovers will be playing in front of a sellout crowd at Ewood Park this evening.
More than 28,000 tickets have been snapped up for the eagerly awaited FA Cup quarter-final replay against Liverpool with the prospect of a Wembley semi-final against Aston Villa for the winners.
Kilgallon believes large attendances bring the best out of the Rovers squad and very much hopes that it will be the case tonight.
"It will be the best, I think we play better when we are in front of big crowds," said the defender. "It'll be great news for the lads that it is going to be full.
"Obviously we'll take confidence from the first game but it will be a totally different game on Wednesday. We are not going to get cocky with it, they are the favourites still
"We've got to go out there and be disciplined like we were last time, maybe make a few more chances and who knows.
"For the club they haven't had many days where they've been going to Wembley recently. I think we are turning the club round as a team and starting to get people thinking what a good team we are.
"It is a massive game, against Liverpool, the chance of Wembley, it doesn't get much better really.
"I'll tell you one thing, we'll be all up for it."
The last remaining tickets for tonight's FA Cup replay with Liverpool have now all been sold. There'll be a 28,000 capacity as Rovers go in search of a semi-final spot against Aston Villa at Wembley.
With the largest home attendance in almost five years fans are advised to allow plenty of time to make their journey to the ground for this evening's game.
Supporters who are collecting tickets for the match should come down early as long queues are expected at the Roverstore collection point.
For those unable to make this evening's match, the game will be live on BT Sport, with Rovers Player providing full uninterrupted online commentary.
