Rudy Gestede experienced the highs and lows of football on Saturday in the 3-3 draw with Nottingham Forest.
The Rovers striker was delighted to put in a man-of-the-match display with a hat-trick of headers, but disappointed that the team weren't able to claim all three points.
The three goals meant he took his goal tally for the season to 19 but Rovers weren't able to claim the points his performance deserved as they were pegged back in a 3-3 draw.
"I scored three so I'm happy for this but unfortunately we didn't get the three points," Gestede told Radio Rovers.
"I missed a big chance against Birmingham in the last game so it was good to score now.
"I haven't scored with my head for a long time so I'm back now and hopefully I will score in the next game as well.
"At home we should have won with the three goals, it is the same feeling from Birmingham, we should have won more points than this but it is what has cost us in our season, in this situation we've got to win.
"We'll make everything clear and start to build for next season now, we'll have the meeting on Monday with the video and see what we can improve and what we should have done better."
Rovers are back in action at Ewood Park this Tuesday night when they face Millwall, kick-off 7.45pm.
