Match Millwall's fight

Gary Bowyer knows Rovers will have to be up for the fight to get something from the game against Millwall this evening.

The Lions travel to Ewood Park this Tuesday night fighting for their Championship survival and the Rovers boss feels his side will have to match their desire and determination to claim all three points.

Bowyer sees similarities in tonight's game from the one two seasons ago when Rovers needed a win at the Den to ensure Championship survival, so he is all too aware of the challenge that Millwall will bring.

"We are fully aware of what it is going to be like because two years ago we found ourselves in the exact same postion going to Millwall when I was caretaker," Bowyer told Rovers Player.

"We knew we had to win to stay up and it is a similar situation for Millwall at the moment.

"We've just got to make sure that we are right because we know what to expect. They are going to be coming here fighting for their lives and we've got to make sure that we match that.

"We went down there earlier in the season and were 2-0 up, they went down to ten men and they still managed to pull off a draw, so you know they are going to fight until the death.

"The fact that they are in there with a fighting chance and that this is their game in hand on the teams around them means we know that it is going to be very difficult.

"But it is one that we've got to be concentrating on ourselves, we are in front of our home fans and want to give them a win to cheer."

Tickets for this evening's match will be on sale up to the 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets are priced from £12 Adults, £9 for Seniors 65+, £9 Students and £5 for Under 17s.
