A host of players from Rovers Girls Centre of Excellence will be gunning for glory when they represent Lancashire in the ESFA National Finals next month.

Six Rovers starlets have been named in the LSFA Under-16 squad and nine Rovers players have been included in the LSFA Under-14 squad for their respective finals against Essex at Northampton Town on Wednesday May 6th.

Alicia Johnson, Alice Adams, Katie Maher, Katie Samuels, Brenna McPartlan and Natasha Fenton are in the U16 squad for the game at 1pm, while Amelia Size, Emma Bradley, Emily Yeoman, Kimberley Sykes, Caitlin Gerrard, Ebony Stinson, Hannah Walsh, Kaya-Lilly Pottinger and Ellie Spooner are all in the U14 squad for the 4pm final.

Before then, Rovers’ six Under-16 representatives will be in action for Lancashire in the Northern Counties SFA Final against Cheshire at Padiham on April 28th.

In a further success story for the Centre of Excellence, Amelia Size recently represented Wales Under-15s in the Bob Docherty Tournament in Glasgow.

After being selected to attend a National Development Squad training camp in Cardiff last month, Amelia made the squad for the tournament, where Wales took on Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
