Gary Bowyer hopes to see Paul Taylor impress once more when Rovers take on Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The Rovers boss handed the on-loan attacker his first start in a blue and white shirt in the midweek win over Millwall and was impressed with the 27-year-old.
Taylor certainly made an impression with a energetic display against the Lions, and his manager wants more of the same against the Terriers at the weekend.
"I thought Paul Taylor did ever so well on his debut," said Bowyer. "He's a different type of forward player for us.
"The other night he had two efforts on goal, he was constantly wanting to be positive and I was really impressed. I thought he showed the fans what he is capable of.
"He brings a directness and wanting to score goals, he's done very well on his debut and we hope he continues that on Saturday.
"I thought he was lively, I thought he was a good spark for us. When he gets hold of the ball he wants to do something with it. He wants to create something or he wants to commit people. He gives us just a different dimension to what we've got.
"He can't play against Ipswich because of his loan agreement so he'll certainly be involved at Huddersfield."
Tickets for the match will go off sale at 4pm at the Roverstore, Ewood Park on Friday. After that fans can pay on the day at Huddersfield, cash only from the away turnstiles. Prices are Adults £24, Seniors (60+) £14, Under 18’s £10.
