The challenge is consistency

27 September 2014

Boss Gary Bowyer wants Rovers to claim back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Following last week's away win over Fulham, Rovers are back at Ewood Park this afternoon when Watford are the visitors.

Despite winning four games so far this campaign, Rovers are yet to string a pair of victories together, with Bowyer wanting to break that sequence against the Hornets.

"The challenge for the players is to get back-to-back victories and to get some consistency in results and try to break into that top six," said the Rovers boss.

"It is a challenge that we are really looking forward to and we go into it with confidence from an away win and a clean sheet - our first of the season.

"We spoke with the players and said that now is the time to get back-to-back wins and have a good spell in these next three games ahead of the break.

"The break can come at a good time sometimes and we want to be going into it off the back off the back of three good performances and hopefully three good results.

"We are certainly hopeful that we can put a performance on first and foremost on Saturday, then get the results and look to get in that top six."

Tickets for Saturday's Ewood match against Watford will be on sale up until the 3pm kick-off. They are priced from £17 for Adults, from £11 for Seniors & Students and from just £6 for Under-17s.

Why not avoid the matchday queues at the ticket office and book online today at and collect your tickets on the day of the game from the collection point at the Blackburn End of the ground.
