Boss Gary Bowyer was impressed with the display of Ryan Tunnicliffe against Derby County last night.
The on-loan midfielder had made his Rovers debut as a late substitute against Wigan Athletic at the weekend, but really showed his potential with a 30 minute cameo against the Rams at Ewood on Wednesday evening.
"He's a good player, we knew that when we were bringing him in," said Bowyer.
"We've watched him throughout the years growing up as a kid at Manchester United.
"It is just a disappointment for us now because we play Fulham and he can't play in that one.
"But I think he showed people what he can do, what was really pleasing that he went into the game and picked the tempo of the game up straight away.
"Some of his passing was excellent, it is exciting for us."
