Keep the clean sheets coming

26 September 2014

Gary Bowyer has called on his squad to follow up last week's shutout with another against Watford this weekend.

Rovers claimed their first clean sheet of the season with the 1-0 win away at Fulham last time out, with the manager wanting a repeat at Ewood on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of the game, Bowyer said: "We showed last season that we are capable of producing clean sheets. We got 15 of them which was really good. That is why we are disappointed that it has taken us so long this time.

"So we were delighted for everybody involved because there was a lot of talk going into the Fulham game and we actually managed to go and produce.

"We all defend as a team and certainly all attack as a team, they are fully aware of that, so we are pleased that we managed to put it together.

"Now what we've got to do is go and build on that and look to get back-to-back wins and hopefully get another clean sheet because we know that the players are capable of that."

Tickets for Saturday's Ewood match against Watford will be on sale up until the 3pm kick-off. They are priced from £17 for Adults, from £11 for Seniors & Students and from just £6 for Under-17s.

Why not avoid the matchday queues at the ticket office and book online today at and collect your tickets on the day of the game from the collection point at the Blackburn End of the ground.
