Jake Kean has today joined Yeovil Town on an initial month-long loan deal.
The Rovers goalkeeper has linked up with the League One side until October 12th.
Signed from Derby County in 2009, Kean quickly progressed through the Academy and Reserve teams before enjoying extended loan spells with Hartlepool United and Rochdale.
After making his Rovers debut on the final day of the 2011-12 season at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, the following campaign saw Kean make the goalkeeping position his own following injury to Paul Robinson, making 24 appearances before a knee injury cut short his season in April 2013.
Kean started the 2013-14 season as manager Gary Bowyer's first-choice stopper, playing 18 times before Robinson returned to the side in January this year.
Kean, who was in goal for Rovers' Capital One Cup tie against Scunthorpe United in August, has been signed in time to be in Gary Johnson's squad for their League One match against Crewe Alexandra at Huish Park on Tuesday night.
