Rovers Under-21s will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside this Monday evening.
Eric Kinder's side have begun the new campaign with two wins and a draw from their opening three matches.
The Under-21s started the season with an impressive 2-0 away win at Brighton & Hove Albion before a home draw against Aston Villa.
The young Rovers have also progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Lancashire Senior Cup thanks to a 1-0 win over Preston North End, so travel to Teesside in good heart.
Tonight's opponents started the season with a 2-1 away loss at Derby County, but responded well last time out to defeat Brighton by the same scoreline on home soil, so this evening's match will be a good test for Kinder's Rovers.
Eric Kinder has named the same 16-man squad that defeated Preston, with Connor Mahoney and Hyuga Tanner getting more game time under their belts after recovering from injury.
