Gary Bowyer is anticipating another tough test of Rovers' resolve when they face Rotherham United this evening.
The Championship new boys have had a steady start to life in the second tier, but although they haven't won in their last five league outings, Rovers boss Bowyer knows the match will be far from straightforward.
"I think the level of their performances have been good in the games I've watched," said the manager.
"I went and watched them play at Bolton Wanderers the other week and they never let up.
"Then I read Mick McCarthy's comments over the weekend and he said the same. That they keep going for ninety minutes.
"It is going to be one hell of a game that is for sure because we know exactly what they are about.
"They are going to be up for it, their crowd will get behind them, so we are aware of the challenge that lies ahead."
Bowyer has been impressed with the job that Millers manager Steve Evans has done at the New York Stadium, having guided the team to back-to-back promotions.
"They've made massive progress on and off the pitch," added Bowyer. "The people connected there and the Chairman have got to be praised for that because he's backed them financially.
"The management team there has done a fantastic job in getting back-to-back promotions.
"They've brought a brand new team in, they've spent a lot of money in the summer, smashing their transfer records.
"It just needs time for them to gel but they aren't too far off from the games I've seen because they've been phenomenal with their effort.
"So we know that we are up for a tough test on Tuesday night, but we go there full of confidence from how we finished the game against Watford."
