The fans were tremendous

26 October 2014

Boss Gary Bowyer was once again delighted to send the travelling fans home with something to cheer.

Over 1000 supporters made the journey to the City Ground on Saturday, their efforts rewarded with an emphatic 3-1 away win over Nottingham Forest.

Bowyer paid tribute to the fans, delighted with the noise they made as Rovers claimed a very welcome three points.

"The fans were tremendous - unbelievable," said the Rovers boss.

"They were there in their numbers at Ipswich, and that is a difficult place to get to, and to come again, and the noise that they made, fantastic.

"There were over a thousand of them here again and they didn't disappoint, they kept going and they stuck with us.

"The noise that they made was phenomenal and we need to create more of that at Ewood now.

"I hope they enjoy themselves going up the traffic jam that is the M6."

Rovers are back in action next Saturday when Reading are the visitors to Ewood Park. Tickets are on open sale priced from £17 for Adults, £11 for Seniors/Students and from £6 for Juniors under 17. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk.
