The break came at the right time for us

Boss Gary Bowyer believes the international break came at the right time for the club as league football resumes this weekend with Rovers away at Ipswich Town.

Due to a lengthy injury list the squad has found itself stretched for recent weeks, but after a fortnight without a match, the situation is looking a little healthier for Saturday's Portman Road clash.

For the Huddersfield game Rovers were without eight senior players due to injury and suspension, but with Corry Evans available once more and David Dunn, Rudy Gestede, Alex Baptiste and Paul Robinson eager to return to the squad, the manager has a selection headache of the positive kind.

"The international break can come at a good time or a bad time," said Bowyer. "I think with the number of people that we've had missing it came at a good time for us.

"It has enabled them to recover and get ready to go again.

"We are hoping that this can be a positive run for us with a tough six games before the next international break in November."

Tickets for the Ipswich Town match are currently on open sale. Priced £32.50 for Adults, £23 for Seniors 60+ and Students with a valid NUS, £22 for Under 10s and £11.50 for Under 16’s. Call the ticket office on 0871 222 1444 for further information.

Supporters should note that whilst tickets will be on sale at Portman Road on the day of the game, there is a price increase of £2.50.
