Gary Bowyer was once again full of praise for the performance of Lee Williamson in Saturday's 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
The midfielder put in another outstanding display as Rovers inflicted a first defeat on home soil for Forest this season.
Williamson played a crucial role in the centre of the park, and claimed an excellent assist as his run and cross picked out Rudy Gestede for Rovers' second.
"Lee Williamson was outstanding again today," said the Rovers boss post-match. "The run is just phenomenal and the cross that he put in was magnificent.
"The big man needs that service and it was great experience from Willo.
"He was tremendous, he tells us he's 30-ish so to play three games this week like he has done and at the level that he played them, he's been outstanding in all three games.
"We are delighted for him, he deserves all the credit today, he was outstanding."
Williamson and Rovers are back in action this Saturday when Reading are the visitors to Ewood Park. Tickets are on open sale priced from £17 for Adults, £11 for Seniors/Students and from £6 for Juniors under 17. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk.
