Gary Bowyer wants everyone to put Tuesday's loss to Rotherham behind them by claiming three points against Huddersfield Town this weekend.
Rovers disappointed on their first visit to the New York Stadium but the manager knows that those frustrations have to be taken out on this Saturday's opposition.
Bowyer can see positive signs with the way the team play, but whilst they need to maintain that attacking threat, they have to shore things up at the back.
"We've had a good meeting with the players and we've spoke about where we are at, and where we want to go," said Bowyer on Thursday.
"The general opinion from everybody in there was to put Tuesday night to bed and focus on this game.
"We're not far off, you look at the goals we score, the number of goals that we score, and the chances that we are creating. Even on Tuesday night we created chances.
"If we weren't doing that then there'd be cause for concern at that end of the pitch, but then collectively we all agreed that we've got to make a massive difference at the other end of the pitch and start getting a few more clean sheets.
"We've only had one in ten so that is something that has been adressed this morning, the players were very honest, they were analyse their own individual performances and collectively. Everybody in that room wants to make a difference, they've worked very hard for it and they'll continue to work hard."
