More to come from Marshall

23 October 2014

Boss Gary Bowyer believes man of the moment Ben Marshall can improve even further.

The versatile Marshall has really proven his worth to the squad in recent weeks, none more so than in the weekend draw with Ipswich Town and the win over Birmingham City at Ewood Park last time out.

On Saturday Marshall rescued a point for Rovers courtesy of a stunning 93rd minute free-kick, then on Tuesday night he followed that up by securing all three points as his second half goal ensured a 1-0 win.

"He is playing in such a rich vein of form and we are delighted with that," Bowyer told Radio Rovers.

"He's just got to keep it going, he can't get carried away, he's got to keep working hard and get better.

"There is a lot more to come from Marshy, it is our job to ensure that. But it is up to him as well to keep working as hard as he is and wanting to improve. That is the same for all of them.

Marshall and Rovers are back in action this weekend when they travel to take on Nottingham Forest.

Tickets will be on sale from Ewood Park until 4.00pm Friday, priced £26.00 Adults, £18.00 Seniors (aged 65+), £14.00 Under 18, and £1.00 for Under 12.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets on the day of the game, cash only from the City Ground, but supporters should note that there is a £2 matchday increase for Adult and Senior prices.
