Ben Marshall is sure that Rovers can use the confidence gained from recent results to claim another positive one against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Man of the moment Marshall has played a pivotal role as the side collected four points from the games against Ipswich Town and Birmingham City, and whilst he knows it will be far from easy against Forest, he believes the confidence and momentum is with Rovers.
"The three points on Tuesday were massive," said Marshall "We've got a tough game coming up against Forest so we now go into that game with a bit of confidence.
"I think we should take the positives from Tuesday night and take it into Saturday because it is going to be tough. But if we can get a win against Forest it will be a massive boost and I'm sure it'll kick the lads on.
"We need to go into the game with high confidence and see if we can get three points."
Marshall feels Forest will be up there in the end of season shake-up, but if Rovers can defeat Stuart Pearce's side, then it will prove that Rovers can be amongst those battling for promotion.
The midfielder added: "I think Forest are going to be up there as they've got a good squad, but I think if we can play well and get a result and outplay them, then we'll have a big chance, it will show that we've got that it takes.
"But it is going to be tough and we need to stay positive, we need to go into the game thinking we can beat them."
Tickets for the Forest match will be on sale from Ewood Park until 4.00pm Friday, priced £26.00 Adults, £18.00 Seniors (aged 65+), £14.00 Under 18, and £1.00 for Under 12.
