Rovers defender Adam Henley hopes he has done enough to keep his place in the first team after returning in Rovers' 1-0 win over Birmingham City on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old full back made only his third start of the season in the midweek win, and whilst he admits it took him some time to get into the game, he hoped he impressed enough to retain a spot in the starting eleven for this weekend's game against Nottingham Forest.
"It was great to get ninety minutes," Henley told Radio Rovers.
"I've been patient, I've waited for my chance. The gaffer pulled me in earlier in the week and told me I was playing, so all I could do was go out there and do my best and try and nail down that spot.
"If you get that chance you've got to take it, it is like that all the time at this level, hopefully I put a good shift in for myself.
"Having not played for a while you've got to work yourself back into the game and I felt as the game went on my confidence grew.
"They went down to ten men which made it easier for me, so it was good."
Henley and Rovers are back in action this weekend when they travel to take on Nottingham Forest.
Tickets will be on sale from Ewood Park until 4.00pm Friday, priced £26.00 Adults, £18.00 Seniors (aged 65+), £14.00 Under 18, and £1.00 for Under 12.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets on the day of the game, cash only from the City Ground, but supporters should note that there is a £2 matchday increase for Adult and Senior prices.
