Gary Bowyer has sung the praises of Lee Williamson after last night's 1-0 win over Birmingham City.
The midfielder put in a commanding display in the centre of the park as Rovers made it three points and three unbeaten thanks to Ben Marshall's second half strike.
Speaking after the match on Radio Rovers, the manager said: "He was magnificent on Saturday and he was even better today.
"It was a fantastic performance from him, I don't think he gets the praise that he should.
"But his team-mates realise what he brings to us and his experience is important. He has been there, he's seen it, he knows the game and he is a big help to them.
"He is a great role model, people don't see what he brings off the field at the training ground, he is phenomenal."
Williamson and Rovers are back in action this weekend when they travel to take on Nottingham Forest.
Tickets will be on sale from Ewood Park until 4.00pm Friday, priced £26.00 Adults, £18.00 Seniors (aged 65+), £14.00 Under 18, and £1.00 for Under 12.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets on the day of the game, cash only from the City Ground, but supporters should note that there is a £2 matchday increase for Adult and Senior prices.
