Boss feels for the fans

31 October 2014

Gary Bowyer has sympathy for the supporters as Rovers prepare for another busy week of Championship football.

Fresh from trips to Ipswich and Nottingham, Rovers follow the weekend home match against Reading with lengthy trips to Millwall and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Rovers boss has been full of praise for the backing his side has received on their travels

"I don't think whoever organises the fixture list has been too kind to our fans to be brutally honest," said Bowyer.

"To have Ipswich away and Forest away, then to follow it up with trips to Millwall and Brighton, they've not been very kind to our supporters.

"So that is full credit to the fans because they turn up in their thousands for us and have given magnificent support for us.

"So we are aware of the travel involved but go into this week full of confidence after getting seven points out of nine."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Reading are on open sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off.

Prices are £17 for Adults, £11 for Seniors/Students and from £6 for Juniors under 17. Book online today at and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
