Gary Bowyer hopes the players have learnt the lessons of Tuesday night's draw with Millwall.
2-0 up and with a man advantage, Rovers looked to be heading for their fourth consecutive win and a potential top-six place, before the Lions fought back to earn a point.
The Rovers boss feels that the experiences gained from the midweek match at the Den can serve the squad well in time, but only if they learn from them.
"Sometimes you have got to go through these experiences and mistakes to learn," said Bowyer. "They've got to, it is as simple as that.
"They've played in an atmosphere like that before, it is just a case of us keeping the ball better.
"We've got to make sure that we don't do that again. We talk about them learning and about them developing and that is another example - playing against ten men.
"It is a tough place to come and before the game would you have taken a point? Probably yes. But when you get yourself in the commanding position that we were in we should have seen the game out and won it and got all three."
